Fodbold For Alle ("FFA", "we", "us", or "our") operates the FFA mobile application and website at ffamatch.dk. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you create an account and use the FFA app, we collect the following information:
Account information: Full name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
Profile information: Phone number, preferred playing position, and skill rating (1–5).
Profile photo: An optional profile picture you choose to upload, stored securely in Firebase Storage.
Match data: Records of matches you join, your registration status, and payment confirmations.
Usage data: Basic app interaction data collected by Firebase to ensure the service functions correctly.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to:
Create and manage your account.
Show you upcoming matches and allow you to register.
Display your profile to match organisers (name, photo, skill rating, position).
Process match registrations, waiting lists, and payment confirmations.
Send administrative notifications about matches you are registered for.
Allow admins to manage registrations and process refunds.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process your data on the following legal grounds:
Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing your name, email, and phone number is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Your profile photo is optional and only uploaded with your explicit action.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Keeping records of match registrations and payments to ensure fair and accurate match management.
5. Third-Party Services
FFA uses the following third-party infrastructure services to operate:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage): Stores your account credentials, profile data, match data, and profile photos. Data may be stored in EU data centres. See Google's Privacy Policy at privacy.google.com.
MobilePay: Payments are made directly by you to the organiser via MobilePay. We only store a confirmation of payment — no card or bank data is processed or stored by FFA.
6. Data Retention
Your account and profile data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Past match records may be retained in anonymised form for organisational purposes.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings.

Request deletion of your account and data.

Receive your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy
FFA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
